Missions Administrative Assistant

The Missions Administrative Assistant will aid the Director of Field Operations in support of the Reaching Souls International National Missionaries throughout the world. This position will be a point of contact for National Missionaries and will assist with the day-to-day operational needs of the Missions Department.

Missions Administrative Assistant

Full-Time | Exempt

Location: Hybrid

Department: Missions

Reports To: Director of Field Operations (DFO)

Supervises: Part-Time Missions Assistant and Interns

Consults With: Executive Assistant to COO, Regional Missions Director, Missions Field Specialist, Senior Missions Field Specialist, Director of Missions Logistics and Data Management

Work Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | Friday 8:00 AM–1:00 PM

Some evenings, weekends, or adjusted hours may be required during special events or international travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage data storage systems, travel calendar, and routine communications. Evaluate and implement improvements to these systems as needed.
  • Coordinate and manage travel arrangements for missions’ personnel and teams. This will include making travel decisions, providing reservations, visas, and information regarding country entry and exit requirements.
  • Purchase and arrange global shipment of supplies and equipment for National Missionaries and the Missions Department.
  • Gather and format statistics and data used in developing country profiles.
  • Plan and prepare all missions-related conferences and overseas meetings. Responsibilities may include team travel arrangements, compiling of conference materials, packing of equipment and supplies, and team communication.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • A commitment to the mission, strategy, and values of RSI.
  • Bachelor’s degree or substantial life experience in ministry, missions, business, management, or other degree relevant to the position preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Database management experience
  • Proficient in or willing to become proficient in relevant Adobe products.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.

Salary
$41,000 – $51,000 per year
