Consults With: Chief Operating Officer (COO), Executive Assistant to COO, Regional Missions Directors, Director of Missions Logistics and Data Management, Missions Assistants, Chief Development Officer, Major Donor Representatives, Director of Marketing and Communications, MarComm staff, and the Development Assistant.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Office Hours:
Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | Friday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
(Office hours may vary due to travel and position requirements.)

Job Summary:
The Missions Field Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the work of National Missionaries and the broader efforts of the RSI Missions Department. This position is responsible for frequent international deployments to evaluate, support, and enhance ministry operations overseas.
The Missions Field Specialist will support the work of National Missionaries and the ongoing work of the Missions Directors. The Specialist will collaborate closely with US missions’ staff and both national and international leadership, providing direction and oversight with logistics, planning and executing projects, and managing on-the-ground operations, including crisis management when necessary. The Specialist will demonstrate a commitment to living out their faith.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deploy internationally to plan, organize, troubleshoot, and research ministry opportunities, including Leadership Development Institutes, National Missionary Conferences, and missionary evaluations and interviews.
- Serve alongside Missions Directors to interview and review national missionaries.
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Communications to document field activities, gather in-depth stories, and contribute to ministry marketing initiatives.
- Assist RSI Staff and Donors with vision trip opportunities, serving as field contact and consultant when needed.
- Advise and provide regular updates to the Director of Missions Logistics and Data Management on tracking and maintenance of deployed RSI inventory being used overseas, and make recommendations as to allocation, assignment, and additional purchases of assets.
- Serve, advise, and make recommendations to Missions Department staff in planning and preparing all aspects of overseas projects as assigned.
- Negotiate and enter into contracts or agreements on behalf of RSI, per the budgetary limits or project needs as set by Missions Director/s.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- A commitment to the mission, vision, strategy, and values of Reaching Souls International.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred or 3–5 years of relevant experience instead of a degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for extended periods. (Average annual overseas time is 120-150 days.)

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
- Ability to travel by automobile and commercial airline, both domestically and internationally.
