A Testimony Shared, A Soul Reached
Recently, I had the opportunity to share the Gospel with a lady named Sister H, who had been a devout Buddhist for many years and attended the temple regularly. Knowing her background, I invited two new believers from our church, both of whom used to be Buddhists, to join me. One is a 93-year-old grandmother, and the other is 67 years old.
After I shared the Gospel clearly, I invited her three times to repent and receive the Lord Jesus, but she refused. She said, “My whole family follows Buddhism, so I need to think about it carefully.” Then, the two new believers began to share their own testimonies. They told her, “We used to be Buddhists just like you. We went to the temple for many years, offered a lot of money, and even shaved our heads to become monks and nuns. But we never found true peace or happiness. However, since the day we accepted Jesus Christ, our lives have been filled with real peace, joy, and blessings.”
Thank God, the Holy Spirit touched Sister H’s heart. When I invited her one more time, her heart had softened. She willingly opened her heart and received the Lord Jesus as her Savior.
Right after she prayed to accept Christ, a wonderful peace and joy filled her heart.
In the following days, I sent her Bible lessons and testimonies of people who used to worship idols but are now disciples of Jesus Christ. She enjoys reading and learning very much and has thanked me many times.
Thank you, Lord, with all my heart! All glory belongs to Jesus Christ! Amen!
