150 Saved at a Funeral
My fellow friend lost his wife. It was a terrible and painful time. The arrangements were made for burial the next day.
According to the program, I was to be the main preacher at the last funeral service. Many people came from various places, and this woman was known by many. She was an evangelist who had a call on her life, especially the hospital ministry. She used to visit many hospitals within our district to evangelize and pray for the sick.
When the time for the sermon came, I elaborated on and exemplified the four spiritual laws because I had scrutinized the fact that many were not born again.
As I was concluding my sermon, I made the altar call. To my amazement, about 150 mature people raised their hands when I asked those who wanted to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. I led them in the articulation of the prayer of salvation, which they thoroughly followed.
I give the glory back to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for His salvation.
