From Survival to Purpose
National Missionary, Adam reported to us this story from three boys whose lives were changed when they heard the Gospel.
“Today, the three of us would like to share our testimony about how we received Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of our lives. We are 16, 14, and 15 years old.
Before coming to our city, our lives were extremely difficult. We lived as street children because we had no parents and no opportunity to attend school. Eventually, we were rescued from the streets and taken to a shelter for displaced and vulnerable children.
However, when the war reached here, we were forced to flee from the camp and once again found ourselves living on the streets. In order to survive, we began doing small manual jobs and learning simple mechanical work.
One day, a pastor came and shared with us the Good News of Jesus Christ. He told us that God loves everyone, even those living on the streets. When we heard the Word of God, our hearts were deeply touched. We believed in Jesus Christ and decided to leave behind the life we had been living.
After that, God opened a new opportunity for us. We began working in a small garage where we are learning practical skills and earning a small income. Today, we continue working and trusting God to guide our lives. Now we love going to church and learning more about the Word of God. We enjoy prayer and desire to continue walking with God and serving Him in our future.
We give thanks to God for changing our lives.”
