This month I was on a missionary trip. It was an exhausting and very cold trip, but full of joy because we carried a message of salvation that the Lord let us go and preach to all nations. We set out to bring the Good News of salvation. 

The next day, we were sent to a church that was in a neighborhood some distance from us. There, they distributed us two and two. I asked for the address and for God to take control and touch souls that needed to hear His word, and we went out door to door. 

I arrived at a house, introduced myself as an ambassador of Christ, and told them I was going to bring them a message of salvation. A young woman came out, and I told her that God had plans for her life. 

At the moment, she didn’t want to listen, but I told her I would listen, and then I listened to her. After I listened, I presented to her the plan of salvation and the plans Christ had for her. With sobs and tears, she told me that since birth, she had problems with her hips. They couldn’t operate on it since it was too risky to operate because they would have to do a blood transfusion, and the operation only had a 50/50 shot of her surviving. Her life had felt hopeless and without purpose.

She had tears and laughter of joy that she had accepted Christ as the only Savior of her life, and in the night, she ratified her decision for God in worship. As a new creature in Christ, we saw the joy that she had. Thank God for this lost soul that found refuge in the Lord. Amen
