On August 20th, 2024, two members of our church and I visited new believers in the city. After visiting and praying for the believers in that area, we proceeded to visit the families of workers at the construction site nearby. 

These workers, mostly from the country region, had come to the city seeking employment. We engaged in friendly conversations with the men as the women were busy preparing dinner. Although they were initially embarrassed about their modest living conditions, we began to share the Gospel with them. 

We spoke about the temporary nature of our earthly homes and introduced the concept of a permanent, beautiful dwelling in heaven offered by God through Jesus Christ. After answering their questions, 8 men and 1 woman accepted Jesus as their Savior. We guided them in prayer and asked for God’s help in strengthening their faith. 

We returned with joy and planned to visit them again to teach basic Christian doctrine. Over the next 8 days, we taught them the first lesson in Christian doctrine and had three follow-up visits. 

On Sunday morning, three of these new believers attended church to worship. 

We thank God for His blessings and ask for your continued prayers for these new believers. May they remain steadfast in their faith, grow in their understanding of God’s Word, and regularly attend church. May they also become active in sharing the Gospel with others in the future.
