It is never too late for God’s grace to transform a life. At the age of 75, Mama D had spent many years enslaved by alcohol. Beer had become a part of her daily life, and she had never imagined that true freedom was possible. As she grew older, she also began experiencing serious memory problems. She frequently forgot important things, and her family became increasingly concerned as the signs of severe memory loss continued to worsen. 

By God’s divine appointment, Mama D heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ during one of our evangelistic outreaches. As the message of God’s love, forgiveness, and eternal hope was preached, the Holy Spirit touched her heart in a powerful way. That day, she made the greatest decision of her life. 

With sincere repentance, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, surrendering her entire life to Him. From that moment, she completely abandoned alcohol and began walking in a new life with Christ. 

Today, more than three months after giving her life to Jesus, her transformation continues to inspire everyone around her. She has developed a vibrant prayer life, a deep love for God’s Word, and a genuine desire to live according to His will. One of the clearest signs of Christ’s work in her heart is her willingness to forgive. Although some of her children still hurt and disappoint her from time to time, she now chooses to respond with patience, love, and forgiveness instead of bitterness.
