We Need People Like You
My two Timothies and I headed to a nearby village to share God’s message of love.
We were welcomed at first as we started praising the Lord in songs, but after a very short time, a group of youngsters assaulted us, accusing us as peace perpetrators. As we were arguing, by God’s miracle, three policemen came up and asked what was going on. The people in the village supported us and those young boys were taken into custody and the policemen told us,
“Remember to pray for the country, pastor. That is your job. Continue. We need people like you.”
We took more than 20 minutes to praise and worship the Lord for His intervention. After a very short prayer by my brother, I shared God’s Word from Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23. I then called the people to repent their sins and 11 people received Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Savior.
Praise be to God!
