From Danger to Discipleship

It was on Friday, December 20th, 2025. During this day, I had an open-air crusade after doing door-to-door evangelism. As I was preaching, a drunken man came, who was also a dangerous armed robber in the area. He took a pang knife in his hand, and he started shouting at me. He said I was telling lies to those people, saying I am one of the false prophets. But I didn’t take care of him for all the words he said to me.

Some of the people who were listening to the Gospel were ordered by the chief to take the man out of the place and beat him. I then asked the chief to leave him, saying that he cannot harm me or do anything bad to me, although people around were saying that this man is very dangerous. But I took courage, telling them that they should leave him. A time later he was calmed down.

After the message, I held the altar call, asking people to come forward to accept Christ as Lord and Savior. I saw the man coming forward, sobbing, and crying. I then prayed with him, and he finally repented of his sins and accepted Christ as Lord of his life. I did some counselling and teaching with him, and he asked me if he could be baptized. A week later, the man was baptized together with others.

I thank God that, though he was dangerous, with the Holy Spirit, this man has totally changed, and he is a great testimony to the whole village and the area. He has joined the church. I hope he will be the best instrument God will use in this area.
